Don Heliodoro, aged cheese aged in lard
Made with pasteurized sheep’s milk. An artisan cheese, wrapped by hand in lard at the beginning of its healing process. The butter prevents the cheese from drying out and gives it a very different and creamy texture, unique among aged cheeses.
INGREDIENTS: Pasteurized sheep’s milk, salt, rennet, lactic ferments and preservative (lysozyme, derived from eggs). In bark: shortening and preservative (E-235).
